The Lenten Supper this week is being sponsored by the 7th & 8th grade class. The menu will be spaghetti, bread sticks, salad bar, and dessert. Supper will be served in the gym, as it is NLSW and the students will have their science projects displayed.

ADULT BIBLE CLASS: ALL ARE WELCOME!
Pastor Theiss (7th & 8th Grade Room) – New Class – Portraits of Easter – In these sessions our focus will be on the details of Holy Week, the Crucifixion, and Easter. This course provides interesting insights that help explain the path of a loving God as it unfolds into the greatest event that ever took place. All are welcome!

Pastor Grunklee (5th & 6th grade room) – Will be leading a Bible study on the book of Jonah that correlates with our Wednesday times of worship during Lent. This week we will look at Jonah 2:1-10. Bring your Bible and a friend!

COMING CALENDAR EVENTS CONT….
March 14 – (Sunday Special Event: K-8 sing in BOTH
services. The school is a very important part of
St. Paul Church, and this way the celebration of our
school will be with all our members! We will be
singing towards the end of the 8 a.m. service, students
and parents can go to Sunday School, and then sing
towards the beginning of the 10:30 a.m. service.
Students will sit with their parents and come forward
when it is time to sing.
Don’t forget that this is the Sunday that time will
SPRING FORWARD!
March 15 – NO SCHOOL – Teacher In-Service
March 18 – 5th/6TH Grade Spelling Bee at Immanuel,
Bay City

CONGRATULATIONS to our “A” Boys & Girls Basketball Teams. Both tied for 1st place in league play. The Boys placed 2nd in the Bay/Midland Tournament and the Girls came in 1st.

SAVE YOUR OLD CELL PHONES: Saginaw County Right to Life is collecting old cell phones for recycling or for emergency use for the elderly, victims of domestic abuse, and others in need. They receive a donation for each phone. Boxes are located in the school, and in church above the mail boxes. Please let your friends and family know about this opportunity to help promote the dignity and protection of life.

PARENT REMINDER - With the Lenten Season upon us, Soup and Salad Suppers are also returning with an extra chance for fellowship. Please remember that children are not allowed to roam the hallways, locker rooms or hang out in the gym during this time. Children should always be under the supervision of parents. Thank You.
