ADULT BIBLE CLASS: ALL ARE WELCOME!
Pastor Theiss (7th & 8th Grade Room) – New Class – Portraits of Easter – In these sessions our focus will be on the details of Holy Week, the Crucifixion, and Easter. This course provides interesting insights that help explain the path of a loving God as it unfolds into the greatest event that ever took place. All are welcome!

Pastor Grunklee (5th & 6th grade room) – Will be leading a Bible study on The book of Jonah that correlates with our Wednesday times of worship during Lent. This week we will look at Jonah 3:1-4. We will talk about: What does it mean for my life that “the word of the LORD came to Jonah a second time”? Do you think Jonah willingly went to Nineveh? What do you think of his sermon? Where is the Law? Where is the Gospel? Bring your Bible and a friend!

CONGRATULATIONS to Rocky Frazier for qualifying at the State level in the Geography Bee. This will take place on April 9th at Western Michigan University. This is the first time that we have had a student move on to the State level.

TRACK:
The track season will be starting soon (mid April). We are in need of a track coach for the boys & girls in grades 4 – 8. They practice twice a week (usually after school) – all the meets are on Saturday through the month of May. The state meet in on June 5. It has been my privilege to be the track coach for the past 3 years at St. Paul, but I feel it is time for someone else to take over. I will be more than happy to help with practices at school on most days, but the new coach will need to take the reins of everything else. Please let Justin Garcia or Justin Zeilinger know if you are interested. If you need to know more about what the coach is responsible for, please let me know.

SAVE YOUR OLD CELL PHONES:
Saginaw County Right to Life is collecting old cell phones for recycling or for emergency use for the elderly, victims of domestic abuse, and others in need. They receive a donation for each phone. Boxes are located in the school, and in church above the mail boxes. Please let your friends and family know about this opportunity to help promote the dignity and protection of life.

PARENT REMINDER
With the Lenten Season upon us, Soup and Salad Suppers are also returning with an extra chance for fellowship. Please remember that children are not allowed to roam the hallways, locker rooms or hang out in the gym during this time. Children should always be under the supervision of parents. Thank You.

EASTER EGG HUNT: The St. Paul Easter Egg hunt is Sunday, March 27th from 10:00am - 12:00 noon. It is for preschool - 2nd grade children. There will be prizes for the most unique & colorful Easter egg basket. Bring a friend that isn’t a St. Paul member and win a prize. Weather permitting the egg hunt will be outside. Drinks and snacks will be provided. Please bring a basket or bag.

K-3 GRADE INSTRUCTIONAL BASKETBALL: Our games this week are on Sat., Mar. 13th here at St. Paul. Team 2 plays at 2:30pm and Team 1 plays at 3:15pm. We will have practice next Sat., Mar. 20th from 10:00-11:30am and our last game will be Mar. 21st at Zion Beaver.
