today that she has breast cancer. She is having a
lumpectomy on Monday and will need radiation.
She may need someone to help out in the kitchen
occasionally so if you are able to help, please call
the school. Please keep Julia & Floyd in your
prayers.
Church Extension Fund Stamp sale had been
scheduled. CEF stamps will be sold during both
lunches on Thursday February 9th. Stamp price is
$.25 per stamp. A reminder will be put in the
Potpourri.
Grades 1 – 8 Tardy Policy to be enforced: Parents
are reminded that students are expected to be in
their rooms and ready to start school when the 8:00
bell rings. Students may be tardy three (3) times
per quarter. If the child is tardy the 4th time, that
child will be required to serve a 45 minute after
school detention. Additional detention sessions will
be assigned each time more than 3 more tardies.
Parents will be given prior notice as to the day of
that detention. Exceptions can be made due to
weather and/or extenuating circumstances.
Kindergarten Tardy Policy: Students who are tardy
(not in the room when the 8:00 bell rings) will lose
5 minutes off both recesses for that day. If a
chronic tardy situation develops, the above
mentioned detention policy may need to be
implemented.
Exceptions can be made due to weather and/or
extenuating circumstances.
